is voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit, professional scientific association established for an indefinite period to achieve the objectives in the field of water and environmental protection in general.
SWPCS foster cooperation with other professional, scientific research, educational, economic and similar organizations, based on mutual respect and independence in its work in the interest of the realization of common  goals.


The Jaroslav Černi Institute for the Development of Water Resources (JCI)

is the leading research organization in Serbia’s water sector. In addition to research, JCI’s core activities include: planning and design of water and hydropower infrastructures; engineer oversight of hydraulic projects; consulting services related to the management of water resources, facilities, and systems; development of strategic planning documents; and assistance in the drafting of national legislation, standards, methodologies, and guidelines.

Siniša Stanković Institute for Biological Research (IBISS)

is an interdisciplinary research and teaching center founded in 1947. The Institute is dedicated to investigating biological problems at different levels by diverse approaches. The rich research environment brings together researchers from 14 departments.

The International Association of Water Supply Companies in the Danube River Catchement Area (IAWD)

is concerned with improving and safeguarding the water quality of the Danube and its tributaries. IAWD encourages all measures and attempts directed at avoiding and eliminating all contamination of, and hazards to, the raw water quality in order to ensure reliable drinking water supply.
